"So You Think You Can Dance" was very eventful. Billy Bell fell ill and had to leave the series. They brought Brandon back but he was eliminated. Nigel is going to try to get the rules changed so he can try out again next season.
One of the girls, forgot her name (from SC) hurt her knee and the Red headed French choreogragher subbed for her. The other girl (also from a NC farm) was also eliminated.
The judges did the eliminations because the results show will be preempted this evening.
There was no votng from the viewers.
I'm not bored with it at all! I'm finding it much better than the seasons when some goof stays while other better dancers get voted off.
well, since syt and dwts were both on last night at the same time, I watched dwts and taped syt and plan to watch it this am. can't remember any of the dancers (except 3 tappers) from monday night, so obviously there was no standout for me. I just hope there is someone like a Twitch, Mark, Pasha, Hok or Josh that stands out because except for Evan I found last season rather boring.....but of course I will still watch.
Will miss Mia Michael's dances, tho.....
Melissa wasn't as bad as Michael & Louie. The guys both should've gone. Don't bet on Michael going too soon. For some reason, they're letting him stay - thanks to Len of all people.
is it the fans that vote or is it the network ratings that are keeping some of these people on?
i do not watch the other program that is mention in some of the post, so i do not know what or who you are talking about. some times i get a little mixed up and say who are they talking about. i know this is supposed to be for both groups but could you post it under either DWTS or SYTYCD... just helps me to know who and what we are posting on. just me, i am sure no one else has this problem.
I also find it very confusing, when all I want to find are comments about DWTS to have to weed thru stuff about a program I don't watch. So you're not alone, boomer.
Also don't think it's boring at all when Derek and Joanna turn the house upside down with their samba like they did. I think Michael's fan base keeps him on - probably the entire NFL vote for him, whether he can dance or not (which he doesn't do very well). With a smile like that, he's undoubtedly a very popular fellow, but I do hope he goes on the next round. I'm also not fond of Aaron's histronics and although Kelly has improved a great deal, or self-image comes through too much, which she needs to overcome.
I have been watching most of DWTS each week but not the results show (tune in at the end) but I just am not as tuned in as I use to be. Otherwise, why is it that I don't know who Kelly is?
Mellow....Kelly Osborne. The pro she's dancing with is Louie I think.
Mya is my girl....I vote for her as many times as I can on the cell and then on the home phone. Her partner is low keyed compared to some of the other partners who are more passionate about their scores, however I think she is dancing very well to the great choreography her partner has for her. I can't remember his name.
There are a few good other ones, but a couple that I judges give ridiculously high scores too.

Her partner is Dmitry. I agree that Mya is easy on the eyes and dances well, for the most part, but I'm with Len that there just isn't any need for all the gimmics, tricks, showboating they do each time that have nothing to do with dancing. Every week I expect that they might learn and adjust to Len's comments, but the next week they're still doing 'cutsey', non-dance movements or episodes which I consider time-wasters in a dance contest. Derek by far IMHO is the best choreographer and Joanna follows like she's attached to him by strings or glue.
