Since it's double elimination, how about both??

I only saw the first 5 dancers because our airing was pre-empted by football. I taped it for until 2:40 in the morning, which would've worked, but they sneaked in Nightline and Jimmie Kimmel before they aired it. Darn.
Anyway, from what I saw, I think Maya was the best. Micheal Irwin was not very good and what's with Len praising him???
Melissa and Kelly weren't too good either. I think Karina and Aaron looked so beautiful in that waltz. Karina's gown was perfect and she moved so gracefully. They looked like figures in a music box.

It could be Michael & Louie, but you never know. What did you think about the group Samba?

Oh yeah! I forgot that it was a double elimination this week & next. I can't remember which of the ladies it was - I think maybe the 1st one to do the waltz - was that Melissa? I didn't think she did very well.

I liked the group Samba & the way the judges tapped them out. Toward the end it was hard though because they all really brought their game.

Derek and Joanna were hands-down exceptional - again, IMHO. Four minutes of the Samba never letting up on the intensity about brought the house down - including the judges. Great dancing!

It should have been Michael & Louie ...

book...I think Mark is improving weekly & thought he did very well this week. I also think Donny is doing consistently well - always fun to watch. (So much so that I just kind of expect it now & my attention goes to checking out the others.) Kelly was SO good the 2nd week (wasn't it the 2nd week?) that she set the bar really high for herself & hasn't come back up to that level, unfortunately. I think the judges are right about her, that she is really lacking confidence & she needs to ramp that up to get to her level. Of course, her injured foot affected her this week.

I think the correct people were in the bottom 3 this week based on their performances. And, based on the dance off between Michael & Louie, Michael did deserve to stay - but, I don't think he can last much longer unless he keeps improving a LOT each week.

I have to say that since they didn't have some sympathy (or popularity) point grabbers this season, it's been more equal & the stronger dancers have for the most part stayed on to see another day. (My one biggest disagreement on that would be the gal that got voted off last week - can't remember her name. I do think she was better than Michael & Louie.)

I've been enjoying this season because of the dancers being more equally matched & the ones being voted off has made more sense.
