tues 27th

these days are rolling around pretty fast. All of this chatter is because I dont want to admit that scales are not kind things again this week. Still within my range but I had hoped that this would be a break through week. In my defense I notice that my ankles are quite puffy this morning and one of my faux pas this week was to continue eating some soup that tasted quite salty. I did the same with a bowl of Chilli. I never use salt so that when someone prepares a meal for you its hard to say I dont like it. You know they will never invite you again... and I need and like my friends.
The bread rule of 2 slices a day is still working well. My 5 fruits and vegs per day is getting easier to manage. The portion control still needs a little work..gone back to using smaller plates. The exercise is still a problem cannot seem to fit fit it into my routine daily so that will be my goal for this week. I also will plan to do a food diary in the coming weeks but will think about that later so I dont get overwhelmed in trying to change my lifestyle.
Thank you all for the comments ..I appreciated them.

In terms of exercise, fit some in whenever you can. You don't have to devote a half an hour at a time to get the benefits of exercise. Try doing something 5 minutes out of every hour. What's working for me lately is 1 minute of high intensity followed by 2 minutes of lower intensity. You're very smart doing things in small steps. For the permanent weight loss that we all want, you really do have to change your lifestyle. I took an online weight loss course once and we did small changes each week. Week 1 we took a multi vitamin. Week 2 we ate a healthy breakfast. Week three we drank 2 glasses of water and added a glass a week until we reached 8. I've retained many of the habits that I learned in the class. Good luck
