Riley's Quilt
Riley's quilt is finally completely finished and has made it's first apperence at a local quilt show. It was hand quilted by Blue Ribbon Hand Quilters and they entered it to be judged. The judge's comment was " very nice quilt but the squares are not all square'. I knew that because I had to adjust some of the squares to make the border fit the quilt. In the back of my mind I remember a guest at our quilt guild saying if you have a border like that on your quilt don't forget to make the quilt fit the border not the border fit the quilt. And poor Riley is not going to get her quilt until after June when my quilt guild has their show.
