High MM! I rarely use pipes, never use bongs, just joints. But I DO remember way back in the late '60s using the toilet paper tube trick. My old man carved a small soapstone pipe, that he made back around the same time, that we've used on occasion, but mostly we've used it to smoke hash in. Above and below are a couple of interesting pipes, 1 of which you can eat, after you use it as a pipe! Stay High and Peace! Alison

We made a pipe out of an old wine bottle, kind of like the coke bottle in the picture, Used tubing from the college science lab. Also used a cheap ol corn cob pipe but burned out the bottom. PVC pipe was used more recently by friends.

Auminum foil pipe: 1 sheet of heavy duty foil about 12 in. Fold in half (not length-wise). Fold open edges about 1/4 inch so all edges are smooth. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, gently roll the foil into a tube. Bend up one end of the tube to form an almost vertical bowl. That's it. The bowl gets real hot so hold it by the stem. Also if you press down gently on the pipe the bottom will flatten out a little so it won't roll over when you put it down. Works well in a pinch plus you can roll it up and toss it if you need to ditch it quickly!!

I've used this one several times in a pinch: core an apple, but don't cut all the way through. Make another hole leading to the center hole. Tape aluminum foil over the top opening, pushing it down a little to make a bowl. Punch holes in the foil with a needle. Fill the bowl, light up, and enjoy.
