It's been a long time since I had time to visit this site. Since last here I had 2 surgeries and today had to take Toby in to his dr. I was up with him all last night (got 1.5 hours sleep), he just kept shaking and panting and appeared to be scared. No storms or anything. The vet said he looked perfectly fine and everything checked out. Will keep a close eye on him and hope whatever it is passes. Jeannie40

Perhaps something like Rescue Remedy to calm Toby's nerves would help - I've used it successfully with my collie that is afraid of thunderstorms. Hope it is just a passing thing and that Toby is much better soon.
