Blessed
The day you walked into my life was a day most blessed.
Though we were strangers. Somehow we knew...... we weren't.
We opened our hearts to one another..... allowing just a peek of who we are.
Just that one small peek was enough for us
to know we were in the presence of someone very special.
We also knew we didn't want to lose what we had.
So we made a choice.
And we chose each other as friends.
And since that day there has been no regrets.
I'll always be your friend.
And I'll always love you.

We yearn with desire.
But can never have.
We talk...but do we really speak.
I hear your words.
But dare not hope
For I must protect my heart.
Seems our dreams are endless.
To us they are the sacrifice supreme.
Are we casting forth our love in vain
To love so long...only to feel more pain.
A soul so full of life
With lips that taste so sweet.
Do we as strangers stay.
No passion felt and so alone.
Will our heart's break and turn to stone.
That gently weeps and weeps alone.

Becomes.... no more.
