I've got a small lake in the backyard - had to confine the poms to the patio so they won't float away I'm in NW Austin.
Hi caradocs, hope you're having a happy birthday, despite the rain! Keep those pups on high ground!
It's very cool, breezy, raining, dreary, etc. I'm tired of this.
Ready for sunshine - however, I'm still wearing my capris & flip-flops. (I hate heavy clothes & closed toe shoes - so I rough it until I can't anymore. Ha!)
We had another hard rain storm last night here in noarth Texas and today it has not reached 60 degrees, yet. According to the weather forecast we may have more rain for Wednesday or Thursday, ugh. It would be nice for a cold spell with the SUN! Donna

Here in Flour Bluff(C.C.) in rained for 5 solid hours. We got a little cool snap with the rain, feels good. Still below the average rain amount...
Oh, yeah - Flour Bluff made the news last night (I live just outside of Bishop).
Yesterday was wild! I hadn't checked the weather forecast over the weekend. When I got up Monday morning, it was sunny & warm, so I dressed in shorts (nice casual offices where I work). Just before noon, it got dark and WINDY. I mean, things with roots were flying. I heard later we had winds up to 53 mph. And then the rains came. Sideways. And the temperature dropped. We got about 2.5 inches of rain over a 2-hour period.
That's Texas for ya - all or nuttin!
It's sunny and lovely in San Antonio. Complete opposite of yesterday. Just a fine wind and temp. is rising.
I'm seeing some blue sky poke out here in Houston, too. It's about time!
In El Paso, we have had very nice weather, Mmid-60' and mild 70's,but a cold snap is on its way
