I think it very unlikely that there's a supervolcano underneath Washington state. There is a lot of controversy over whether or not mantle plumes which can serve as a heat source for supervolcanoes are stationary or migrate. But if there hasn't been a history of supervolcanic eruptions in the past, it's very unlikely that would be now, but not impossible. Gee, I hope not. We already have 20 known supervolcanoes around the world as it is. The last thing in the world we need is another one!
But there is some good news. Geo-physicists now believe that Yellowstone probably doesn't have another supereruption in it. I guess perhaps after all of this time, Yellowstone may start to be winding down. Let's hope so.

.................our planets geology only amazes me, and I don't think humankind will ever know everything about it. I really don't fear her power, as I know I will die anyway someday. So why not from a volcano, as opposed to a randon driveby shooting? I would much rather our mother earth take my life, just as she has given it to me............
