Sometimes if I'm just at home alone and not going anywhere I might skip the shower on a weekend. Actually, most people wash too much anyway and it isn't good for your skin. You should wash your face and the hairy, sweaty areas every day with soap and water but the rest of your skin doesn't need soap every day unless you are doing something to get dirt or grease on it. Every other day is enough otherwise for the soap. That's according to a dermatologist too.
On my off days and sometimes vacations, I tend to forgo shaving......shower daily though....
hmmm, i must be healthy FC. i only shower twice a week, except in the summer when i think i stay wet from june to september. ha, ha, ha. i agree, too much soap isn't good for your skin or hair.
what i cannot do is go without brushing the teeth and flossing.

Usually shower, wash my hair daily and shave weekly :) Teeth and flossing daily also! Soap on the body can't be all that bad since I'm still here and older than most of you. Of course, I quit using Lava and Fels-Naptha many years ago. Now I use those gentle, smell nice soaps. :)
well...on weekends I reek... I walk around like pigpen with a aura of of dirt and bugs constantly around me... and boy to I have BO...women take their kids of the street... bricks fly off the corner of buildings...stink bugs avoid me...
and I don't care...I'm the proverbial number one slob...
If you reek then you need to wash!!!!! You sound like that kid in the Peanuts cartoon strip with the bugs flying around his head. But I don't believe all that anyway.
I can't go without brushing my teeth either...yuck I wash my hair about every other day except when I have it really short then I do it everyday. Nothing wrong with a daily shower or a good soak but soap isn't required on all hairless, non-sweaty parts every day.
Speaking of bathing, does anybody know if they still make Vita Bath? I used to love that stuff but haven't seen it in the stores lately. I love the original green and the pink too. It used to be expensive then the price came down and I actually bought it at Walgreens. I can still smell it.

view linkthe reason i like it is because there isn't a drop of water in it. haven't found any other hand lotions like it. not greasy either plus it will exfoliate as well. i love it.
