Taking Chance

I finally got the opportunity to watch the HBO movie "Taking Chance" which starred Kevin Bacon. I was so moved by this movie, right from the very beginning.

I knew that there were certain honors given to the fallen as they make their final journey home but I had no idea how they were honored from the beginning of their journey. I was so moved to see that the civilians who were part of Chance's final journey also rendered honors to Chance.

I don't think I will read or watch another story about a fallen member of the military without thinking of Chance and Col Strobl.

Yes, I was also touched, when I saw this movie,... I hope none is offended by it, as privacy is so precious now days, but I do believe it is a wonderful portrayal of caring and honor.....

Excellent film, very touching. Caught an interview with Kevin Bacon, he too was profoundly moved by the entire experience.
Curious enough, it was Cory that told me to see it.
