Thanks for posting the pictures. Like Tony bennet, my heart will always be in San Francisco - or Monterey. I have not been able to go back for at least 10 years and it is amazing how these sites never change - that much. I used to deliver mail at Fisherman's wharf - in 1982!!
It's funny because we crossed the bridge to the other side and when we were coming back my daughter did not pay the toll. So a letter came last week . She thought that it was refund from verizon wireless. She got a notice and that they were billing her for unpaid toll charges.

Well, you wouldn't like it very much right now. The SF-Oakland Bay Bridge has been closed since Tuesday due to a cracked I-beam and falling cable. The whole Bay Area bridge system is in a real mess!! Lucky you got these shots before the S**t hit the fan.
Took the blue and gold Fleet ride around the Bay, cold, but we enjoyed the trip. I've been over the Golden Gate many times. I really enjoyed the times we went up to SF from Mountain View. Sure brings back memories, makes me want to go back and see it all again. Living near Sacramento now (since 2000)and I do sometimes miss the pleasant weather in the Bay Area.
