Christmas ornaments
Hi, Everyone,
Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. Just busy. I've finished the first three of a dozen little ornaments I'm making for small Christmas gifts.
They are 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom - about as mini as I get. I'm going to tuck them into cards for colleagues at the library and a few other friends. Have you noticed that people who find out that you quilt all seem to be waiting for THEIR quilt? I'm hoping that this gesture will get me off the hook.
I joined the Evening Star Quilters' Guild in Belvidere, NJ. Today was their biannual show, so I helped to set up last night and got to be a white glove lady today. I had assumed that being a white glove lady was a coveted job that I wouldn't see until 2025, but it seems that being on one's feet for a three-hour shift isn't everyone's idea of a good time. Lucky me! The quilts were amazing, and yours truly got to touch them all (through the white cotton gloves, of course).
