What is it that the White House does not want us to know?

I was watching CNN and saw that Obama and the White House was telling us that we should not be watching Fox News. So I started watching the Fox News channel, I'm glad, it is a real eye opener. I have now changed my opinion about some of this nations leaders.

Every one should watch Fox News, before you make up your mind about anything the government is doing or plaining to do. I now see why the White house would prefer that you not watch Fox News. Fox News gives both side of the issues.

Why would any one tell people not to do something, It is only going to get them to give it a try. The government should want the public to be well informed, should en they?

US citizen should hear both sides and then make there own decision about the information they get on a issue. The White House must think the people are not capable of making good desicisions if they hear both sides of a issue. The information they receive from any one may not be true, each person must make the desicisions based on hearing both sides of an issue.

My language skills are excellent, however my typing skills are rudimentary. I left out the word "of"! Sorry about that!

Instead of Fox go to CSPAN and listen to what comes our to the mouths of the Senators and Representatives. Just be sure you listen to both sides when both sides are represented. Also listen critically to the words used by these people.

Am I wrong or have I been able for years to get releases of anything the White House or the congress says publicly just by asking for it. Google "Federal Government Releases" for all public statements. Also under the Privacy Acts all information is available through the office of your congressman.

It is not only accurate but verbatim. There can be no dispute or misinterpretations unless you care to apply your own slants.

As it's been said, neither Obama or any White House official has said not to watch anything.

I think as it has already been well said by others, it is wise to follow up on all such accusations.

Fox: 1. To trick or fool by ingenuity or cunning; outwit. 2. To baffle or confuse.

Fox New is very biased. I haven't watched it much for some time because much of the information is not accurate. As I understand it the White House never said "Don't watch Fox News," but did indicate that Obama would not be a part of their programming.

The OP advised of "watching" but obviously that does not include actually hearing and understanding what was said.

I think the OP is a republicant plant posting here. However, I do feel some pity for he or she. There is the lack of language skills for one thing, and possibly loss of hearing etc.
