Lost
This is a sad poem started long ago and just finished today.
It does not reflect my current mood

My heart hurts badly
No rescues clear.
There is no help
I truly fear.
Tears run freely
Down my face
Help seems oblivious
I can’t find a trace
The murmur
Of my trembling sole
Softly cries
And takes it’s toll
There is nothing I can do
Yet I am lost
In loving you.
Way to soon
I know you’ll see
You will always be a part of me
Deep inside my heart you live
There’s little more I have to give
Now my heart filled with sadness
My sole full of grief
Reality calls out to me
I can not find belief
You are gone forever more.
You left me here
Went through deaths door.
Now my tears fall
I am alone
How to me can
New love be shown
My soul has left
It went with you
This world offers nothing new
Depression growing
So all alone
I look forward to
Deaths hand and home

Glad that you have moved beyond that mood, Rewtoo. I've certainly been there, but it's important to keep moving toward life while still honoring your past. Wishing you the best.

Glad you made it through this time. I think most of us have been at that point at a time during the whole gamut of things we go thorugh. Thank you for honoring us with your poem.
