People don't see that this very thing you mention can happen and it began with the UNLAWFUL SC ruling against the Fifth Amendment in 2005, when, they ruled that a PRIVATE concern could have your property under Eminent Domain if it so-called served the community. More legislation from the bench and Americans stood by, certainly, the Democrats did - it's all part of the process to tear down our Law completely.
You are right DesertDeb. If no one pays attention to what they are up to and votes them out accordingly, we deserve what we get.
You all said it and you all are absolutely right. In 1963 Prime Minister Kruschev told then Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson that they the communists were going to take us over. They were not going to do it necessarily with weapons, but by feeding us little bit by little bit, until we don't know the difference.
Now with that said, what do you think has been happening? Exactly, little bit by little bit, they have come in and we all said, okay, a little bit is not going to hurt. A drup here, a doobie there, wear down our morals and our values, until we get to where we are today, with socialism knocking our doors down. A president about to give our country, our money and everything that we own to the rest of the world, so that we are governed by a one world government. Until our freedoms are a distant memory, and our children, grandchildren are enslaved by an overzealous dictator, and unbridled debt caused by our greedy power hungry leaders.
This will all be OUR Own Faults! Our morals and values have been eroded. Either we stop it now, or we will forever be controlled and lose what we used to hold dear!
We have to draw our own line in the sand and tell our leaders, we will not be moved nor will we let them take us any further than we already are.

I don't want others to share with me, I make less than that by far, all I want to to be left to he-- alone. Whne will gov't get that through their thick heads?
I support a consumption tax, the abolition of income tax and then, we'll be spreading the responsibility to care for this country's defense, security and infrastructure among our citizens, the illegal aliens, the lawful visitors to our nation. The so-called 'wealthy' will buy larger and better toys (paying higher taxes in doing so) while, the production of goods will, actually, increase, as all Americans have more $$ in their pockets.
But then, doing this, will take away a huge political tool for all politicians.
The saying that 'we cannot tax a nation of people into prosperity' is not just hot air - it's true.
This can be done rather easily, it is called zoning laws. I am sure there are laws in cities that state how many people can live in a dwelling.
