1,000 children die of the H1N1

How many more before people get angered at this Government -maybe your own?

The hearings about the H1N1 flu the Government official for healthcare part of this admitted they are at fault and should have started earlier - admitted they were wrong - which has killed 1,000 babies/kids so far and it will be so much more before this is all over with because of their stupidity. Kids are waiting in line, but adults also that are not pregnant, "it is a hell with you and get me first attitude".

What a world we live in when hell with you attitudes are going to be the cause of children and pregnant women's death and that for one makes me ill to see it happen. One fellow was telling people it was pregnant women and children first and did the people care - no way. Unbelievable!

This country's people need a wake-up call and sooner more then later. Hatred and anger for the Government and for those people who give a hell with you attitude is where I'm at right now in my life after seeing this being played out on TV on Channel 58 in Milwaukee. They were so selfish, that alot of people didn't receive the shot, for everyone wanted it and it wasn't suppose to be that way. It was only suppose to be for children and pregnant women. What a damn society.

has anyone gone to the local pharmacy to see if they have a flu clinic (for regulR OR h1N1?) for shots usually $25 at least up here in Maine? We did

Here in NJ Flu shots are being sold in many places The chain drug stores like Walgreen sell the for $25 and the major grocery stores are even less. Pathmark is giving them away with a purchase of so many dollars.

Hmmmmmmm guess that speaks to the terrible shortage of Flu Vaccine

I haven't heard of a flu vaccine shortage. The H1N1 flu vaccine is different and I do believe there is a shortage of that right now but have read it will be rectified shorty. I hope so. Walgreens here has plenty of regular flu vaccine available.

Sorry to have to tell you this, but alot of States have shortages and Wisconsin is one of them - so if your State has enough good for your State, but those who don't have it are worried - thanks for showing your interest in the other people around you - snobs -

and to the hearings on Capitol Hill - they had the hearings and yet people like you don't want to see the truth - must be tough to live with only half information or none at all and hell with everyone else in your life.

Hearings are nothing more than staged political drama. They make the point of the politician the holds the hearings. This whole H1N1 business is a hoax to divert attention from the serious problems our country is in.
I'm in the Pharmaceutical business and the world capacity to produce vaccine is actually more than the world commercial demand. The problems we see are manufactured by those who would harm America

Well, the H1N1 flu vaccine is scarce here in SE PA. My daughter workers in a school, they are just getting the vaccine, but will not give it to anyone over 24 years old - she is 28. I guess it doesn't matter anymore since she now has the Swine flu - we will never know if a flu shot would have prevented it. (regular flu shots are plentiful).

I don't know where you are getting your information, but the CDC told us here in Wisconsin that children are getting ill with H1N1 and healthy, but are being hospitalized and deaths occurring anyways. We finally have the shots here now, but too late as always and people who don't care about children/pregnant woman/nurses are standing in line and starting fights and mayhem as occurred. Saw it first hand, that is why I'm not getting that shot - children/pregnant woman and nurses are more important to get the shot first then me. I'll get the flu shot when it is available - at the doctor's office I go to, they are getting short on the flu shot and only giving it to patients that come in - not healthy body's. Walgreens is out of the shot completely in my area. And my daughter told her pregnant friend to go to the hospital in Illinois that she went to - to get the flu shot and her friend called to say that they are not giving the shot to anyone unless a patient, even the health department isn't giving shots.

So I'm soooooo happy that you have it all well and good, but it isn't how you think in other places of the United States. You think you have a handle on it - LOL

I'm waiting for my flu shot that doesn't exist here - even my Dad has tried to get me a shot at his doctor's and the answer is NO. So tell me everything is going fine here in Wisconsin. I'm just about give up, since the doctor, health department are not giving any or are out of them completely.

I am sorry for this cut and paste job all from newspapers in Wisconsin. I am just tired of the fear Bull S.
State health officials have confirmed two new deaths due to H1N1 in the past week from Dodge and St. Croix counties.(there may be 2 more)
KSTP-TV in Minneapolis is reporting the patient in St. Croix County is a Hudson woman who died Tuesday at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Friends say 48-year-old Debbie Lindstrom began having flu-like symptoms at the end of last week and was taken to the hospital because the virus caused fluid to build up around her heart.
Currently, influenza activity is widespread in Wisconsin and higher than what is normally seen this time of year. Cases of the H1N1 virus have been reported in 52 counties
the CDC estimates it had distributed 8 million doses of H1N1 vaccine. Wisconsin received approximately 147,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine in a combination of the nasal mist and injectable form by Friday, October 9th. Wisconsin received a second shipment of approximately 46,700 doses on October 12th and another 19,500 doses on Tuesday, October

Yichel - what you don't know is that a shipment of H1N1 flu shots etc was stolen and the whole truck of H1N1 flu shots had to be thrown out and now they are waiting for more. I don't know why the CDC would paint a happy picture here, but I saw this on the news yesterday evening.

The death toll is growing higher - and the shot from a nurse I asked is causing rotten things to happen to even healthy people, it is not all that everyone puts it out to be and yes some people have a weak case of the flu, but others die. And those children who have nothing wrong with them and have passed away from the shot, it is caused by the shot itself to affect healthy areas of the body as well as if someone has problems before. This causes pneumonia in others. And this is from a healthcare nurse.

H1N1 vaccine is being given away by the municipalities here free. The next town over is scheduled for Nov 17th. I don't understand why some states apparently aren't getting their fair share.
