The orig show never tell why he was wanted & recaptured?
I recall the orig "Village" was a hidden missile base?
I never got that rolling blob device to capture #6.
I did like that the Control Center & the Spherechairs & then cordless phones used in the set.
I never got those 2 guys on that lever stand gazing into some scope device.
Total PsychTorture, Mind Control themes in Orig.
Loved Patrick McGoohan ( see Ice Station Zebra MGM, 1968 on DVD).
I cant see anyone else as # 6 BUT Him.
& why didnt they ever pursue other "prisoners" Or was he the only one in the Village?
The Village setting was in Wales Im told for orig.
The new one looks OK, NOT menacing like the orig UK version.

?-6 angrily vehemently forcefully resigned his job for some unknown reason but knows too much to be
allowed to become a free agent.What could he know? What angered him?
??- The Village appears to be a Universal/Cosmopolitan place.Who controls it
???- How many people in the Village are simply staff, prisoners,wardens
????- Is the plan to brainwash, dehumanize, rehabilitate, gain knowledge, or imprison
?????-Did 6 truly go there innocently or is he in deep undercover to investigate
??????-Is 6 in a real Village or is he unconsious , hooked up to wires & tubes,& in a SIM village

I have lots of questions and am looking forward to seeing the new version of The Prisoner.
I'm about half-way through the original series(netflix). The DVDs include trivia questions and info about the making of the original series.
