I liked both photos. The second one showed up those two glorious golden yellow trees that the first photo kept slightly obscured by the foliage on the opposite side of the water. As in any conversation, these how why it's nice to have more than one point of view. :) Good job!
Lovely, do you know anything about it?
Thanks, GlowGal and Espirit. Here's some background on the mill.
In a scenic location along the Sandusky River, Indian Mill is the nation's first educational museum of milling in its original structure. The restored three-story structure, built in 1861, replaces the original one-story building that the U. S. government built in 1820 to reward the loyalty of local Wyandot Indians during the War of 1812. Many exhibits are placed around the original mill machinery. The restored miller's office displays the history of milling from prehistoric times to the present. Indian Mill is three miles northeast of Upper Sandusky, Ohio in Wyandot County, along County Road 47 on the bank of the Sandusky River.
oh, man, how you make me want to be able to go there, see it, absorb the history. I have ancestors from the Sandusky OH area, but so long ago I can't determine WHICH Sandusky they were in . . . need to make a journey back there.
your photos are so beautiful - I agree with GlowGal, more than one photo is always a good idea. I automatically take two or more of any given shot . . . never know which one will be the 'pick' and sometimes, as in this case, both are valid . . .
nice work, thanks for sharing
