H1N1

How are all of you dealing with illnesses? In Michigan we have a long list of school closings due to flu. My school is still open but the number of students gone increases every day. I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before my school will have to close for a week.

So far Atlanta has not had any schools closed with flu.
Except for the flood a month ago, our weather is beautiful and not so cold that buildings are closed in. I have a feeling that when we get our first freezing weather ( usually November) that will be the test for serious flu cases to spread. I have a cold-in-my-nose right now, but it's hard to say if the students out are flu or seasonal colds.

Hello guys....I've been one busy beaver lately, but things should settle down a bit by next week....at least tonight I managed to get home earlier than usual (ok, 8pm isn't really early to get home, but....)

Our H1N1 experience hasn't been very bad number-wise....each day we seem to have maybe 10 to 15 out of 200 students out....our local hospital and Docs are not even testing for H1N1, just assuming that's what you have and treating it with Tamifllu....

So, it's school as usual for now...TC
