Does it bother anyone else that we have a growing number of reality TV shows featuring kids? And now find out the Balloon Boy was a stunt for publicity!

YEs, I think that children are exploited enough. I think Balloon Boy's parents should face charges.

I agree also. Too much explotation of our children out there.

"These television shows are all the rage because they're relatively cheap to produce and they feed the public's illusion that everyone can be a star. But audiences need to start asking themselves more often whether they are being hustled, and whether children are being put through an emotional wringer for the sake of ratings."

Glad to know I'm not alone. I'm appalled that parents would parade their kids through a reality TV show every week for the sake of an income and celebrity status. I don't watch this trash and hope they fail miserably and let those families go back to living a real life.
