I have heard & seen worse. (65 years ago they were killing Jews. This seems less lethal.)

Anti-semitism lies deep in the heart of many, and under unusual circumstance rears its ugly head-this time as a "freudian slip".

I'm sad that he said that but I'm glad that it was brought to his attention in a way that will last not just sweep it under the rug. He will be aware of his words now and we know how important words are !!
They are worse than sticks and stones.
