Employees at Mountain Line Transit Authority in Morgantown WV, are asking to be recoginized as an ATU local union.The organizers report that most of the drivers and mechanics at Mountain Line Transit have joined Local 1742- Charlston WV.
But its not raises or a bigger benefit package they're asking for. It's more training.
A former supervisor is now a driver he said he was asked to do things he didn't agree with.
Drivers are put out on the road with only two days training this is a serious safety issue.
80% of the drivers have signed union cards they are concerned about the public safety and their passengers safety as well.

I don't blame them. Two days training for a novice to drive a bus is not enough. Everybody should be concerned about that.

How much will dues go to the DC Machine supporting Union causes & NOT for Voc Ed, Training, Benefits for Dues paying members?
Id join a Union IF
1. Dues went to:
Voc Ed, Tech Ed, Education, Healthcare
2. NO Dues to DC Political Machine.
But Unions now are forcing dues to DC vs YOUR needs.

UFCW Local 770.
Never did a thing for me.
Im hard to Convince.
& Teamsters Local 63 has some Ex felon as a Union Rep.
Yes a ex Felon.
I dont cotton to "felons" telling me my rights under some Contract.
Do YOU?
ALL Unions.
Prove me Wrong.
& those drivers should go to NTSB & the Labor Board.
Hire drivers from CA, we have 12.2% unemployment.
