Hey..We want to sy hi to all our critter friends and family. Guess what?????????
I, (Baby), was so brave tonight before i had my supper.I let Mom pat me just a tiny pat. Then she talked to me so nice and sweet, that i let her pat me 5 or 6 more times. It didn't even hurt a bit. In fact, i think i liked it a little, cause i didn't even dump down from the steps. I hope she tries to pat me again real soon and maybe, just maybe, i will let her. Penny was watching, but she stayed on the ground. I think she is a little chicken. Well, not a weel chicken, but a scardy cat.
I had to tell all dis to my critter family, i was so excited.

Wow! I'm really impressed, Baby. When I first came to my forever home I didn't like to be touched and for a long time I bristled every time my mom or my grandma touched me. They kept it up tho and now I love the soft kitty massages they give me. I think you will like it a lot if you let your mom scratch your cheeks and chin and maybe the top of your head too. Who knows: your mom might be good at giving soft kitty massages!

Baby I can talk from experience.

When I went to live with the forever home I have now, I thought they would hurt me like my other family did. So I stayed far away from them and didn't let them touch me for more than a year. But they kept talking soft to me, feeding me regular and I saw how nice they were to Fraulein. And Fraulein told me they wouldn't hurt me. So, like you, I started to slowly let them pat me on the top of the head. And I got braver and braver.

So I am proud of you. I know how scary it is to be brave. But believe me, it will be worth it. They will scratch you in feel good places. And you will feel love with the touches.

Baby I am so happy that you finally let your mom touch you and I hope you can get Penny to be less shy and be brave enough to be touched. She will like is just as much as you do. Daisy and I pray that you would stay closer to home when the weather gets cold so we all don't worry about you so much.
We love you both and I hope you get more of those pats again.

Hi Baby - wow, we are all sooooo happy that you have been so brave in letting Mom Pat you. I hope that Penny will come around also. You know Baby, it is going to get very cold out again and it would be so much easier and you wouldn't get sick this winter if you would just trust the humans that love you and come in out of the cold. We love you and are watching for more good reports.

Hi Baby,

We have a baby at our house. Her name is Bootie and she didn't like to be petted in the beginning.
But now she will allow mom to hold her...sometimes and gently scratch her neck. I tink she likes it.
I am glad that you have a home; turst your new mom and Penny to luv and take care of you.
