CSI

"Coup de Grace"
Now that was a tragedy for both policemen and the snitch.

Did you recognize Enrique Murciano from Without a Trace as Det. Carlos Moreno? I wonder if he will be a regular now?

Enrique Murciano Pictures, Images and Photos

I really like the feel of the show and the interaction of the main characters. Lawrence Fishburn really adds depth and something indefinable to me. His character keeps everything in prespective for the others.

I do agree that Lawrence Fishburn really adds depth to the show

Of course I recognized Danny! It was good to see him and I am glad that he is already working now that Without A Trace has been unfairly canceled. I really believed that Det. Finn had killed Sgt. Johnson and that was because of what we heard on the police car radio. But it was the movements of a small child that changed outcome of the entire case. However, the emotional/ psychological damage had already been done to the poor detective and he had nothing left to live for. I felt sorry for Langston that he was the last person to connect visually with Finn before he shot himself. Preconceived notions are not always the truth and can really be destructive.

The saddest part to me is that Det. Finn didn't look remorseful or sad...he looked angry and bitter. Don't you still wonder why there such a delay with the third shot and wasn't the rookie female cop inept beyond belief?

I think the rookie was only following orders from her superior. None of this would have happened if not for the detectives ego. He could not admit that his eye sight was failing. He should not have been on the job.

Ray does manage to keep the team in perspective, although you could tell Sara didn't much like his synopis of the racial dialogue.

It seems to me that lately all the cases have been connected. They only used this ploy once in a while. Now they are overusing the ploy.

I hadn't thought about that but you make a good point. It is being over used.I thought Ray's race analogy was on point.

Also, have you noticed that Greg either whines about going out to a scene or he never volunteers to accept one? Remember when Catherine announced it, Greg just sat there then Sara said she would go?

Det. Finn definitely should have admitted his eyesight was deteriorating and that was why he did not recognize someone he used to ride with. Did anyone see Katherine's face when the retinitis pigmentosa was brought up? Remember when she was having trouble with her vision? She could be in the early stages of RP. So this hit her hard! I don't think Greg did not want to go to the other scene. I think he wanted to stay with the current investigation so Sara volunteered. I still believe the whole situation never would have gone as far as it did if that little boy had not picked up the bullet and tossed it away! It was just tragic.
