Storm 1 over, ALL OK

Survived Storm 1.
All is in place.
Nice & warm now in the high 80s F from the 50s during the storm.

Hillside intact.

My dad was interviewed by CBS /KCAL TV while setting up water k-rail by driveway.

Now dreading storm 2.

Told winter storms are La Nina & will be worse than 40 yrs ago.

FYI.

Google Ocean View Blvd, La Canada to see Fire & Rain damage on hillsides in Satellite view.

matthelm...good to know all is well in the southern reaches of the state.
That was some storm.
From what I understand, here in the north it wasn't as bad as predicted. Considering it was the first rain we had seen (other than a sprinkle a couple weeks back) in several months, I'm amazed there wasn't more damage. A few trees came down in our area and probably some minor rock slides, but I didn't hear of any major damage.

I was in Lodi at the worst of the storm and they certainly had a lot of wind along with the rain. Not as bad here in the central valley.
