Whew!
I feel like I'm off the roller coaster for awhile. My daughter-in-law went back to NC last Sunday - she had been here since Sept 10. She is now thinking in terms of Jason returning from Afghanistan "next month" hopefully before Thanksgiving. The school I work at once again collected items for care packages and sent out over a dozen to him and his unit.
Jared, is officially a Marine, and left this morning to return to CA for MCT (military combat training) and then he'll proceed on to his other training in the field of communications, also in CA.
We were off yesterday for Columbus Day and spent a chilly day outside mowing and cutting down plants. It all looks so desolate now - until the leaves all fall and that'll be another project.
Tuesdays are a free nights for me as the kids go by their Dads - uninterrupted time on the computer and I hope to be more consistent with leaving messages. It's another year of early wake-up calls and to be at school by 5:30. So, if I sit here long enough or attempt to read I'll soon be noddin' off.
They say we'll have a warm up next week. I'm not quite ready for the cold and it's really confusing with the hot flashes. Hope everyone is having a good week. Until next time. . .
