Rescued dogs

I have a friend who rescues dogs. She is getting some in from a puppy mill in Missouri. They are a 4 year old Pomeranian (missing two feet), 11 week old Cavalier King Charles (bowed legs), and a 12 week old Morkie (partially blind) There is also a Pa...ppy that someone is looking for a home for I believe she is 6. If you are interested in giving any of these babies a good home..let me know. They will be arriving in Washington PA this afternoon. So if you are in the Western PA area (or not) and might be interested in giving one of these precious angels a loving home, please let me know.

THanks
Judy

Well from what my rescue friend tells me she has a lot of adoption requests for these little sweethearts! We are raising money to get Lila (the one missing 2 feet) a quad cart! I can't wait to see her zooming around in it. Oh my gosh the Cavalier is just adorable...and even though I've never heard of a Morkie....she is a cutie too. I'm so glad these little puppymill sweethearts are going to have wonderful homes now, they really deserve it!

I'm glad to hear there are lots of adoption requests. May they find new homes quickly. Morkie? Maltese and Yorkie maybe?

Oh how I wish I could get the Cavy to love - he and Rudy would have such fun, but I'm so glad there are people there to adopt all of them. Did you find out about a cart for Lila? Can they do something for the front legs. Poor baby, she is so beautiful.

I wish the people that have these puppy mills would feel the agony they put the dogs through, it's just so unbelievable to me. Makes my heart ache.

I foster poms for a rescue group. One of the poms I fostered a couple of years ago came out of a very abusive puppy mill. The mill owner was convicted of animal cruelty. Domino had lived in a crate his entire life - only being taken out for breeding purposes. It took him a year of rehab before he was ready to be adopted. He is now in a very loving forever home.

I'll never understand how people can treat an animal like that

Good news on those 2 rescues...the Cavalier has a wonderful new home :) She went on 3 house visits to place the Morkie yesterday and said 2 of them would be perfect, so the Morkie will have a forever home soon.

Lila, the one missing 2 of her paws is doing well. The rescue has been raising money, initially to get her a cart...then my hubby found an article about prothesis...so she will be getting those instead! I think a much better thing, she will be able to move around like a "normal" dog. She is getting fitted for them as I type this! They are about twice the price of the cart...but that little angel is so worth it!
