I just read a commentary about Rush and Beck. They think they have so much power over the people with their "causes" but they don't. Many people listen and watch, but it's just for show.
Limbaugh wanted to wreck the last election. He called for insurrection, but it didn't happen. Beck did the whole 912 thing. While the people did go to Washington, the numbers were nowhere near what was expected and so what happened as a result? Nothing.
The article put the whole Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck thing into perspective. They feed the sheep. That's about it.

He tells the truth. That's why he has top ratings. All businesses operate for a profit, or they fail. The ones with the most reliable product are the most successful.

The first rule of sales is to establish an URGENT NEED in the prospective buyer. He doesn't tell the truth. He tells HIS truth and makes it URGENT to the buyer.
what else would he be doing it for? He is not a public service message he is in businese out to make money as much as the markt will pay.
Can anyone thinkof a useless/& worthless item that people felt they had pet rocks? to me that is a little like limbaugh. At this pint in my opinion he is no longer entertaining.
So maybe Limbaugh isn't stupid enough to believe all of the crap that comes out of his mouth?
Whether Limbaugh believes what he says or not, he certainly can sell it like he does.
