Has anyone heard the outcome of the surgery? How is he doing now?
No, I will try and contact him.
Blessings and light
Hi:
I had a bowel resection for cancer in the cecum on Monday, 10/19/09. It went very well and my pathology lab reports showed no cancer in the lymph nodes and just a remnant of the primary tumor that was on the valve of the cecum. I still have tumors in the liver and will begin chemo again in about 2-3 weeks. I am up and around, discharged last Thurs, only 3 days in the hospital. I had a minor setback 2 nights ago with a gall bladder attack, a complete surprise to me and ended up in the ER all night. Now, that will have to be removed, whoopee! I have come back to work for about a 1/2 day and then go home and rest. I will be working full time by next week and living my life as normal as possible with stage IV cancer, but I will be eliminating all the tumors from the liver. The only things I can't do is to lift anything and eat no fatty foods. Not too bad, but I am tired. I have to get extra rest. Thanks for your support,
RIch

Thank you for letting us know how things are going for you. Any positive news is great news. Keep up your spirits that is part of the battle.
Try to rest as much as possible. I basically hibernated for a whole yr. during my cancer battle. I really think that is what saved my life.
Keep us posted!!!
blessings and light,
Rich, we will still be praying for you until you are completely well again. Keep up your strength the best you can.
Rich please add my prayers also. I hope soon you will be completely recovered and hitting on all cylinders. Hugs, Sandy
