Let's see. SPOD. Like the Blue Screen Of Death. So OD is 'of death'. What do Macs have that's equivalent to the BSOD? The spinning beach ball of death. So 'S' could be Spinning. SPOD. Spinning P of Death. Not beach ball. What's round and looks like the spinning thingie? Pizza. The Spinning Pizza Of Death.
We have a winner! First prize is NO SPOD. Second prize is only one SPOD, etc. Congratulations Techie44.
Just what I always wanted! No SPOD!!!
Do another one, please!!
My Bondi Blue iMac suffered from GLOD (Green Light of Death). :-0 Fortunately, Apple fixed it under the special warranty extension program for that bug. It only recently went kaput, shortly after being retired from active office duty.
Pressly
Bonded with the Bondi
Wow a Bondi Blue iMac, the computer that saved Apple. May it rest in piece.
My Bondi Blue iMac was donated to a local school. It did have the power problem as well, but I never bothered to have it fixed. Just put up with it for a while and then bought my present iMac that I totally love!
At the same time that I donated the Bondi Blue, I still had hanging around an older mac that I cannot recall it's name, except I believe it was one of the first Power PC's. Maybe wrong on that, but it worked very well except the internal modem was outdated and I replaced it with the Bondi Blue. They both went to the school.
I love my macs!
