AZ, I SIMPLY ADORE a clean and organized house. Mine is probably 3/4 clean and 3/4 organized. I'll keep hoping for 100% on both.
I organized my closet, top to bottom once. Put in shelves and everything. It didn't stay perfect, but it's fairly close. I hope you have better results at keeping yours perfect than I have had with mine. Keep the faith and keep us posted.
I cleaned this week too. it is amazing how cludder creeps in. My husband is a pack rat. I too wanted the same life. Mine did not turn oiut that way either. I have a few friends that have that dream. I envy them lol.
Well I had that life basically, been married to the same wonderful man for almost 36 years. But my house is a mess. I have never been a great house cleaner but lately it is really out of hand. I worked here and there over the years but 10 years ago I had a job that lasted 5 years then I sprained (nearly broke) both of my ankles and was down for 8 months and then I started to watch the grands. One after the other they came and I watch them 5 days a week. Well that all changes next month and so I will finally have days to clean again. For some reason I am a morning cleaner and just can't get myself to clean much at night when they all finally go home. On the weekend my husband and I play, go here and there, do this or that, so much doesn't get done. But next month I will have those week days to clean and I hope to get many closets cleaned and organized.
I am a nurse, work odd hours, and away from home alot. This past Feb I was home in a house that made me cough and sneeze. Everytime I dusted I got sick. I eventually had to get a mask to deep clean my house. The moral of this story...Mom was right..Satuday is for cleaning, Sunday is the day to rest. I like sitting on my porch after the house is clean and the garden is blooming.
I find when I organize, I can't find anything.
