What are some items on your bucket list?

Occasionally, I take time to think about some things and goals I want to do/accomplish before , err, "kicking the bucket"( die), which is an old English expression/phrase. In spite of having traveled extensively, there are still many places I would like to visit. Finding a compatible gentleman with whom to share the balance of my life is also on my list.

There is a movie out now called , "The Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Have any of you seen it yet?

As Carlos Castaneda wrote in his books, death is always stalking each and every one of us, and so it's wise to be remember and be aware that at any moment, it could be your 'time'. Not all of us get the luxury of knowing when we're going to die, so crossing-off your bucket list while you're still alive and kicking seems like a smart move to me.

Making a bucket list is a lot like setting goals--goals which are heart-felt dreams that we've never gotten around to doing because a busy life or something else distracted or prevented us from doing them.

Here are a few from my always expanding Bucket List:
Hot air balloon ride
Ride in an open biplane barnstorming, with Snoopy helmet, goggles and long scarf flying behind me -- whee -- maybe do a couple of barrel rolls.
Learn to tutor ESL and live in Mexico for at least a few months among the locals, not with American ex-pats

Hmmm lets see....

Flying a plane would be cool.
Visiting Scotland a must
Playing a bagpipe might be a hoot
Belly dancing at the ren faire ( currently working on that)
Playing guitar with Laurence Juber and Alvin Lee
Writing a top ten tune

That's a pretty good start.

Thank you lol. Give belly dancing a try. You do not have to be good at it to have fun. It will make you laugh and we all know how good that is for us. Our best classes are the beginner classes.
