Rechargable Batteries
I was really tired of my camera batteries being dead everytime I wanted to take an important photo1. Digital Cameras – One customer (a professional photographer) had been using NiMH rechargeables for a while in order to be eco – conscious. When they switched over to NiZn, the user noticed a change in the cycle time between being able to take pictures. Before, with NiMH, the user typically had to wait several seconds (sometimes more than 5 seconds) before taking another picture because of the voltage difference (1.2V compared to 1.55V for alkaline). With NiZn, having an operating voltage of 1.6V, the user did not have to wait, they were able to enjoy taking picture after picture.
