I don't click on links if I don't have some idea where they will take me. Too many people use blind links to spread spyware or other malicious software. I also don't like getting duped into clicking onto a site that has advertising that pays per click, so that I get suckered into generating income for someone.

If you have an interesting link that you want people to see, you need to explain what it is before people will click on it.

Oldbuddy, if I click an interesting link, then I don't care if the site earns money from my click. I subscribe to a number of blogs that have ads on them and I know that those ads produce income for those blogs. I am not going to click a blind link placed on a forum by someone who hopes to sucker me into clicking it, just so that they can get the income from clicking on the site. If the person posting the link can't be bothered to let me know where the click is going to take me, I can't be bothered clicking the link.
