RV ?

HELLO MY NAME IS GAIL. I LOVE TRAVELING AND WHEN I WAS MARRIED WE GO ALL THE TIME. ON WEEK TRIPS , WEEKEND TRIPS AND LIVED IN OUR RV FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS. NOW THAT I AM SINGLE . I AM UNSURE HOW IT WILL
BE TO RV AS A NOW SINGLE PERSON.. ANY ADVICE? NOT SURE HOW I FEEL
ABOUT IT AND BEING OUT TRAVELING WITH A FRIEND OR BY MYSELF. MAYBE SINGLE PEOPLE CAN GIVE ME SOME GOOD ADVISE. LOVE TO GO AGAIN. LIVE IN FLORIDA AND EVEN JUST LOVE GOING TO JUST SPEND A WEEK AT A CAMP RIGHT ON THE BEACH.. HELPPPPPPP.

I too am single. I say, if you want to do, go for it. I bought camping tent, and all the other stuff and planned on going by myself, but took second job on weekends and haven't been allowed to go. I would say to go to a regular campground and you won't have any problems. Most campers are "real" people and won't bother you. I don't think I would want to go to the woods alone but campground should be safer. Most have guards or police patrols. Maybe some on here could meet at the same campground for a weekend?

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE. I LOVE ADVENTURE, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE SO CAREFUL. BUT WILL START OUT SLOW.

I'm married but my husband has too many health problems to enjoy camping anymore, so I go alone or with my very young grandchilden. It's fine, but it's more fun if you have friends, so join a camping group. Good Sam clubs are all over the place. I don't join because I work on Sats. and they always go on Fri-Sun. Leaves me out. But I will join someday, when I retire. Have fun now. Camperbabe

Gail - have you heard about Sisters on the Fly? Check out their web site. I'll bet there are Sisters in Florida you could contact. They look like the most fun group EVER!

Another web site you could check out is RVing Women. A Google search could also help locate groups.
