Hi Sylvia,
I'd love to order a copy for my step mom & dad. They are major cat lovers. (I'm a dog person, myself). Can I pay you for it then have you ship it to them?

Have you approached any pet stores with the idea of them selling your books?
I have done signings at pet walks, Barnes & Nobles, Borders, a couple of big name coffee shops here in town but have not had the chance to talk to pet stores yet. I have had a lot medical problems ( I am disabled and have had several surgeries in the last two years) but have the intentions of talking to them
There seems to be a lot of pet stores in every town I've been in. A big chain like Pet Smart may carry the book in their stores. I have not been trying to have book signings lately because I'm trying to finish a novel. Also I have been having a lot of doc appointments for tests. Alll the talk about signings and meetings in the event posts have got me to thinking I should get at trying to promote my book. With my link to in the menu not working all day no one has visited my post. When they click on the menu as instructed, my book and name don't connect them to my post. I like the idea that one author wrote in the workshop about entering contests on the web and having her book noticed.
Hello, Kittens!
Pet stores sound like a good idea - you just have to convince them that they can sell it!
BTW, I know how tough it can be trying to market your books and deal with a disability at the same time... Are you also holding down a day job at the same time?
I wish you luck!
