"MIssionaries Prayer Request.."
**.."Bro. Gene & Julie are missionaries in another country..he was our Pastor years ago..they need our prayers..got this ..this morning..please "Prayer Warriors"..lift them up in prayer..Blessings.."**
Dear Prayer Partners,
Please be in prayer for Gene. He has been having chest pains for the past several weeks. It is amazing how God has protected and brought people into his life to care for him. The doctor called him yesterday, without having seen the results from his bloodwork yet, and wanted to see him. He went in today and she immediately sent him to the hospital for tests. The results showed that he has an artery on the left side of his heart that is 100% blocked. He is having a heart cath and a stint put in in the morning - Thursday - at 8:00.
While Gene was in the room having the dye run through his veins, I was sitting out in the waiting room alone. I felt the Lord nudge me to read a certain passage in Psalm. So I opened my Bible to Psalm 138:6-8 "For though the Lord is high, yet has He respect to the lowly, but the proud and haughty He knows and recognizes at a distance. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindnes, O Lord, endure forever - forsake not the works of Your own hands." (Amplified) Wow! I was not alone!
Then we got back to out special little cubby room, and the doctor finally came in and gave us the report. It threw both of us for a loop. About two seconds after he walked out, one of our missionaries walked in and another one was waiting outside the door. Others called on the phone. We are not alone! I feel so blessed to be a part of such an awesome family of God.
Please also pray for our family. It is hard for them not to be able to be with their dad, son, brother, etc. when something like this is going on.
Thank you so much for your prayers. I will let you know as soon as I can how Gene is doing.
In Christ,
Julie
