For Your Foot Comfort

Remember Crocs? They were pretty popular & still are. They got into financial trouble like everyone else, but for a different reason. Their products don't wear out fast, so people don't rush out to replace them fast, so their sales slowed down. They decided to explore other avenues than plain old Crocs.

Today I went to a local mall to look for waterproof, skid-proof boots for my winter sailing & happened to pass a Croc kiosk ("Hmmm ... don't remember this place being here ....) & decided to check out what they had before heading to other shoe stores. Turned out I didn't get any farther than the Croc kiosk.

Not only did they have my boots (waterproof & skid-proof), but I found that they are now making several styles of shoes than the usual Crocs we have all come to know & love. I also purchased a pair of black "velvet" flocked ballerina flats & a pair of casual heels. They had several styles of rather feminine shoes in a few colors, & they not only look good, they are comfortable, as one would expect from Crocs. Only thing is, they just come in full sizes. They have the CROC label on the shoes, but while it's barely noticeable on the ballet flat, it's in stark white on the casual heels. Well, there's always good old black magic markers, or glue on some kind of ornamentation to cover that.

What this has to do with beauty is not only that you can have a comfortable but attractive shoe to wear going out, but if your feet feel comfortable, you can look more relaxed. A relaxed woman is a much more beautiful person.

I've never owned a pair of crocs, they are too wide for my feet. I didn't realize they made other kinds of shoes. The ballerina flats sound really cute.

Oh yes...when your feet hurt from bad shoes...it DOES show in your face. I'm going to have to check out the new line of crocks for myself. Sounds like something I would definitely want.

My niece found a website for them but I don't remember the URL to get to it. I imagine if you googled Crocs it would come up. They've got tons of shoes & if you hover your cursor over the colors under each style, you can see the shoe in that color. LOTS of styles! You'll be surprised.

The ballerina flats fit like regular ballerina flats & weigh about as much as your little finger. The heels fit snugly but the heel is a bit heavier than you'd expect from Crocs. Nice, though. I may pick up a couple of other shoes they make.
