Just How Single Is Single?

Here's an oldie but goodie
resurrected for our newer members.

We have now entered the Twilight Zone of Availability. There seems to be:

Married But Looking To See If There Is Something Better,
Married But Separated,
Single But In A Relationship,
Single But In A Serious Relationship,
Single And Have No Intention of Ever Being Married Again.

OK, we seem to have sort of married but not really, sort of single but not really, and totally completely married and totally and completely single.

So, does separated actually mean available? Does single in some kind of relationship actually mean available or not available?

Single means you LIVE ALONE and final divorced not living with someone except for a pet maybe.

not married, no girl or boyfriend or widowed is single, nothing else will do.

Gee Marti could you make that just a little more complicated? To me what it boils down to is "married", "not married" and "people playing games".

I won't date anyone who is separated. When I am dating anyone for any period of time, I consider myself not available.

i am single, would not mind finding a lover that won't blow my cover. but i refuse to tie the knot again.

have been in long time relationships . that lasted for years . perhaps one day i will meet someone who will change my mind about getting married again.

for right now i don't see it. now, single is single. if any of the other things mentioned on here apply, i shy away.
do not like being caught up in the drama of dating some one who is dating some one else. and i run from married folk. did that a time or two and it was nada but trouble.

those are things being used so they can run and play with no strings attached ever unless THEY want them...what dogs!...lol...seems no one wants to commit to anything these days. Just want to run and have fun. I dont intend to play that game. If they cant say Im single or divorced, or widowed...not getting a second look.
