LadyClaire, Here is another one that values its past....I think I would love your city..sounds like a wonderful place...DDI has a warm inviting look ,that says to me come on in...maybe in the far off future that dream might come true...
LadyClaire and funforlee, nice to hear from you both. Yes I was so taken back to find that there was really a DDI, made me smile for sure, and now LadyClaire states there are more then one, in Canada, what a hoot.
Wouldn't it be great to take a trip up to Alaska or Canada to see them, what a trip one could make out of seeing different older buildings etc. I love also and value past history......Architecture, how people lived etc...
I missed Victoria when I was in Vancouver. We left on a cruise to Alaska from there. Would like to go back and see Victoria. I also love looking at the old buildings. I would live to see some Dew Drop Inns. Let's go!

Saw Victoria a couple of years ago. It was beautiful and there is some wonderful architecture there. I hope to go back in a couple of years. I go to Seattle every year. We go somewhere that is new to both myself and my son. Love it there!
Yes djmhart, that would be a great trip indeed. I have been in Canada one time and went to Fort Henry I believe it was called, it's been so so many many years ago. I don't remember what town it was in, but did stay in a cabin right on the water, which was nice.

That coffee must be really bad by now. lol Well I really don't have much to say, just wanted to stop in to see if anyone had been around. No there hasn't so that means the coffee much have been bad to begin with. lol
Went to a KARAOKE nite, last night and really had a good time. There were a lot of people that participated and most were real good. All and all I enjoyed them all. Did some laughing, a lot of singing and dancing in the chair, lol, and a lot of clapping.
Hay how about stopping by the DDI...it's lonely here!!! lol

What a beautiful day again today, going to go out and take a drive today. Not anywhere special, just a drive. Gas is high, but need to get out for a while. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Hi there! We are expecting a cold front to move in tonight and rain turning to snow tomorrow. They are forecasting 1-2 inches of snow and it's supposed to start around 5:00 pm, just in time for rush hour. I'll have to bring an extra ounce of patience with me tomorrow. hehehe. Otherwise, I kind of like a couple of really good snows in the winter.
