My daughter visited Morocco. She lived with a Moroccan family. They were educated. They liked her very much. Still, she was afraid to let anyone know she was Jewish. Why? Some comments:
Jews poisoned the water and were responsible for the Bubonic plague, so Hitler was justified in what he did. That's just for starters. Very scary!

At one time there was a wonderful Moroccan Jewish community. Most of that community has left because of persecution and some, like Ruth Setton, ended up in our neighborhood. view link
