New to This Group

Hello everone. Trying to find interesting groups. I bought a new 34 foot Motor Home last Jan. This was mainly to use in evaucating during hurricane season. My neighborhood gets mandatory evaucations. Lost home to Katrina and vowed never to be without a place to stay again. However it also allowed me to get back into RVing. Did a lot when my kids were growing up. This past June I drove it with my 3 dogs to see my son's family in N.Y. and on to Maine to see my daughter and her family. It was 3600 mile round trip. I just took my time and drove each day according to what I felt like. Are there others like me? Does anyone know if there are any RV clubs catering to the single RVer?

Welcome, Ralph! I'm sure there are others in the group who have RVs. You sure have put mileage on yours.

That is a lot of driving! Yes, there is so much beauty to see. Our mountains, lakes, forests and deserts in the U.S. afford travelers a great variety of scenery. Each city, town or hamlet seems to have a different feeling about it.
