My grandson, who is 3, picked up a feather a couple of days ago, held it up in the air and said, "I wish Jeff (my son & his uncle) would come back". I've never seen anyone wish on a feather before & thought it was odd.

My Dad always wore a hat with a red feather sewed onto it at a jaunty angle. I spoke to him many times about sending feathers when I was doing the right thing or that he was there after he passed.

And he has, when I went back to school, when I got a great job and once when I got off of a bogus traffic ticket I came out of the courthouse and outside the door was a brand new WHITE feather! I was actually high off that one the rest of the day!

I get communication from my fiance in spirit from a song we had as our song. It is Bridge over troubled water and this song has turned up being played at times in my life when I've been trying to decide what choice to make or when I've been going through a bad time and it has helped me feel less alone.
I even had this song sung by the Greek singer Nana Mouskouri before I went off to Crete and that trip turned out to be one amazing journey. Think he was letting me know that interesting events were going to be happening for me.

I've had the feather thing too. It's said to be a sign that angels or our loved ones spirit is around us.

I have the feather things too.

As you know my husband has been connecting with me alot lately. I can smell his cigarette smoke, his after shave, the flowers we used to stop by when we were courting.

Just lately, he has been around a lot and is sending messgaes via mediums for me, moving stuff in my home and turning lights on and off.

I never get musical support from him although everyone tells me he had the most beatiful signing voice.

Feeling his presence could be causing you to miss him more. It's like a reminder of what you shared. He probably just wants to reassure you that he's still around you.

Just lately I've had one bulb go after another. No idea why unless it's my Mum's cousin's husband who died recently and who I only found out about last week. I have been thinking of him so maybe I've drawn him to us.

I watched Sensing Murder recently where a girl's boyfriend had been killed in an accident and he came through to the psychics to say he missed holding her hand. If I was her I would hold my hand out on the bed or somewhere comfortable and invite him to hold her hand. It would be interesting to know if she would feel anything. Some people do feel touches by our lost loved ones.

What helps me when I have missed my fiance over the years and especially at the start was to remind myself that each day takes me nearer to seeing him again and that was quite comforting.

That's a good way of thinking about it, I have been doing the reverse, thinking about how long ago since I last saw him. I think we must have lost them about the same time frame.

Often the mediums say they are sitting next to us hugging us, etc. I have felt comforted but not the hug.
G is busy at the moment, very active, moving my watch from place to place but letting me know where it is when I ask him. It's so comforting having him around right now, I really need him.

My experiences with spirits of loved ones have been knowing they were present, feeling calmed and being given answers from them; nothing audible or visual or perceived through any other physical sense. I get messages in dreams, too, sometimes in words; sometimes I need to ponder the symbolism.

We can get a lot of messages from dreams but I also have trouble working them out. Owly, however, is excellent at doing it. I do have dream books but don't find they are always of much help.

I think dreams are personal messages to ourselves so I tend not to generalise although to a certain extent they can apply to everyone such as dreaming of vehicles is said to be a metaphor for travelling through our lives and dreaming of a house represents our bodies and what goes on inside one is going on inside the other in some form. The trick is finding the connection.
