Cover Photos

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've been on here.
I have just completed my novel and I'm now in the editing and polishing stage.
My concerns right now are two-fold, getting a self-publisher and the cover photo.
I have an idea for a cover, but would it be better to have the publisher create the design
or attempt to do it myself.
My other concern is the publisher, any ideas of who is the best to use?

I was recommended to LuLu Publishing...on the web. two published authors, both in their 80's have used them and are very very pleased....look them up...

Imariebunny, but that post was a while ago. I ended up publishing with Authorhouse.
The cover photo for the novel, A Murder In Zurich was created by myself. I think it came out great. Authorhouse did offer to help design it but I declined their offer.
