(Matthew 27:46) "... My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"
Have you ever felt this way? Maybe you are suffering from chronic pain, chronic illness, waiting for a diagnosis and need encouragement and prayer or a care giver who shares the many burdens that come with the job. Watching loved ones suffer is not an easy task. This is the place for us all to come together and encourage and support one another. Please ask for prayer at any time!
I have suffered from Chronic Late Stage Neuroclogical Lyme disease for 17 years. I have and continue to walk the road of suffering. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband who has stayed beside me through it all. For that, I am thankful. However, I also deal with many guilty feelings, because I am not the wife I should be. He has taken on duties that I once did and his load is heavy. I miss all family functions or opportunities to socialize other than the Internet, which I am grateful for. I am quite sure I am not telling you things that may be the same for you as well. Let's join together in prayer, love and understanding for one another and allow God to do His work. We will receive the promises of God. God Bless Linda
God bless you too Linda! I am praying for your pain to be minimal.
So glad that you are able to be here on the internet because I enjoy your company.
God bless your husband for being by your side thru it all.
Take care of yourself.
My pain for the last 2 months or longer has been in my hip, it feels like bone-on-bone pain, whenever I stand, sit or bend over my hip bone catches and I have to do some fancy maneuvering to unlock it. lol.. Nights I have a pillow between my knees. Ahhh, age. Dee
AWEEEEEEEEEEE..I AM SO SORRY FOR LINDA AND GRANDI..I AM PRAYING FOR BOTH OF YOU...AS WE GET OLDER, OUR BODIES SEEM TO FAIL US MORE AND MORE OFTEN. THE BIBLE ASSURES US WE CAN TURN TO GOD, FOR HEALING. SOMETIMES, THOUGH, HE CHOOSES NOT TO DELIVER US FROM A PHYSICAL AFFLICTION--BUT EVEN THEN, HE WILL STILL BRING US TO SPIRITUAL AND ETERNAL HEALTH...GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU..HUGSSSSSSSSSS
Dee,
I can understand how you are feeling. I am going to be having an xray on my left hip. I think it is arthritis from the lyme but it can be a killer in the night. Some how I lay on that side and it will wake me. I can hardly roll over. It is effecting me in the hip and down my leg into my foot. Does yours do that?
Thanks Linda for cronic pain srfferers-- My mother was one ---- Years ago--They gave her all the drugs she needed until death. Hope others wont have to go through that. Saw her every weekend and took her home with us. Can't talk about the deteration she went through. See ya.
LINDA---YOU NEVER TOLD ME !! I WOULD PRAY FOR YOU-- LIGHT A CANDLE FOR YOU-- RUB YOUR LEFT HIP FOR YOU---WELL MABY TOO PERSONAL --BUT YOU KNOW..CARE ABOUT YOU. BUT YOU NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING---JUST HELPED ME OUT HERE BECAUSE I WAS NEW... LOVE ALL YOU DID FOR ME
I AM SAD NOW
I WOULD WRAP MY ARMS AROUND YOU AND CONCENTRATE ON HEALING YOU-- BUT THAT MAY NOT BE ENOUGH --
FOR --YOU AND GRANDI AND DEE,
BIG HUGS FOR ALL OF YOU.
LINDA----
You are too kind Gale. I know you would do all those things because Jesus lives in your heart. Your prayers are the BEST thing you can do for us. Thank you my sweet friend... :)
As you know, I have been dealing with Lymphoma and the side effects of treatment for over 3 years now. While I have not suffered with your affliction, I have dealt with some of the same issues you describe. I was fortunate that early in my trials, the Lord spoke to me and reminded me of the passage in Matthew where he tells us that he "makes it to rain on the just and the unjust." I know that my trials are not because he has foresaken me, but because there are some things that happen just because we live here on earth.
I also know that the Lord will use us in our affliction to minister quietly to others when we "stay the course" and lean on Him. As we know, Paul also had a thorn in his side.
May God bless you and all of us who endure suffering...
Bill
Bill, You have been such an inspiration to me. You will never know while on this earth, but when we meet one day in heaven.
You have had your own cross to carry, like the rest of us. We have been called into the ministry for the suffering. We can encourage and relate to all of their feelings. You remain in my prayers. God Bless You...
