Critical Mass & Negitative thinking
I subscribe to several widely popular and some not to popular new age ezine. I’m sure you know the type—all is love and light…—the energies are converging stronger than ever…—the beings in some constellation are beaming healing for all mankind…—the aliens from some planet are coming back to give us the final lesson…—the light ship, which is invisible, is returning to take us home…—I’m sure you’ve heard of many of these types of claims.
Some of these energy or light workers need to be taken with a tablespoon of salt and a huge pot of common sense. As in all things, there are scammers, the illusionist, the mesmerizers, as well as a host of legitimate holy men or holy women. This one seems to fall under the category of—buyer beware.
Anyway, it seems the energies are gathering in some exotic or remote location to which we have to go in order to the “full effect” of the healing, activation, expanded consciousness or whatever. I do understand about gathering for support and of course there is strength in numbers and no one can exists in a vacuum. We must surround our selves with other spiritual thinkers in order to grow. Few have the discipline to go it alone and stick with it. That would explain all the life coaches, career coaches, etc, etc. For instance, I am a creativity coach as well as an artist that channels Reiki healing into my artwork. I prefer spending my time with fellow artists—we feed each other. It’s the same with spiritual evolution. It is much harder to maintain your path without emotional support.
The wrong support can lead you to a path of destructive thinking. I have noticed that lately that at least two of the ezine I receive have stated that the “energies” or “beings” have stated that we are in for another downturn in the economy. I take a great exception to that.
It has been proven—enough people believing and concentrating on the same thing, can make it true. Larry Dossy’s book on prayer is but one example of how a person’s fate can be averted, for good or ill, by simply enough people praying for it. It’s critical mass in action.
Without naming names, the particular ezine I am referring to goes out to about a 100,000 people all over the world. All of who have now read about the downturn and because the “energies” have said it, are now experiencing and creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of a down turned economy. Again it’s critical mass in action.
If the energies really cared about our healing and well-being, why are they talking about a negative thing happening? Wouldn’t they prefer we created a brighter future? What kind of “energies” are they that they would bring this seed thought to us? It makes me wonder about those scammers I mentioned earlier. Well meaning people still leave the door open for negative emotions, feeling—or “energies” to creep in. We must be doubly careful to block our minds from any kind of negative thoughts and emotions. We certainly are at a time of critical mass in our spiritual evolution. One negative thought, thought often enough, by enough people can bring the work of untold thousands of light-workers, both human and “other”, crashing down like a house of cards.
I’m not telling you that you should ignore your anger, pain, resentment or your financial situation. I am saying that all of us need to move past our and everyone else’s negativity at light speed. We cannot give our attention to any negative thought. We are creating heaven and hell right now. Your thoughts will determine where you end up.
We must, all of us, use common sense and learn discernment in choosing what we think and where we get our ideas. Don’t be so quick to believe in just anyone or to jump on anyone’s wacky or sane ideology. If it seems “out there” leave it where you found it. If it seems to make sense, study it before taking it to heart. Do not buy into an idea, just because some higher being said it was so. Buy into it because it feeds you.
