Next stop Kewaunee WI!

I will be going up to Kewaunee WI this weekend. Our lighthouse club (WILD- Wisconsin Lighthouse District) is having a picnic at the CoHo Motel, Kewaunee WI, and we will be climbing the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Station in of course, Sturgeon Bay WI.
It is one light that never gets to be climbed and our group will have a personal tour by a fine Coast Guardsman/member of our club! I am so excited!!

It was fantastic..when I get more than 2 minutes, I will share some pics.
My grand kids both went with me and got to climb Sturgeon Bay 's Canal Station light....first time I have known anyone was given permission, and I and the rest of the group were very grateful! My grands wanted to go outside the lantern room though, but could'nt for security reasons....more later....thanks for asking!
