All Around the Christmas Tree

All around the Christmas tree
As little kids they played.
All the world was magic;
Dreams were not delayed.

Happiness was made.

They learned how life was shared,
Growing up together,
Those who really cared.
All around the Christmas tree
For future days prepared.

They watched their children play.
Families joined together
To celebrate the day.

Loving words to say.

All around the Christmas tree
They sit and proudly gaze,
Older and more peaceful,
Savoring these days.

Settled in their ways.
