Happiness is a choice. We all know people who are never happy no matter what happens. They only seem content when they are miserable and making everyone around them miserable, as well. No one person can make another happy. We are all responsible for our own happiness.
For me, as others have stated...I'm happy every morning I wake up and find I have another day to live. And every night I go to sleep counting all the ways I am blessed.

Ditto USMCMA. Like we said on the Married But Looking to Cheat thread. If you feel you are unhappy, then make some changes, but make changes of a moral and ethical nature.

Happiness manifests itself as serenity. The Queen of Darkness, my ex, could never grasp that fundamental of living well. She is/was a manic depressive. Her life must be a living hell. She was forever grasping for new material things which would make her happy. Each new thing failed, including a new husband. I wonder how many people our society precludes from finding happiness mired in such a shallow existence?
